Salah Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team following the fallout from his public comments.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.

Jones insisted that the squad's reaction remained positive. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

Liverpool's form have been impressive in the games following the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
